A dress I made out of paper- specifically I used a copy of Stephen King’s Nightmares and Dreamscapes I found at the thrift store. I tore the pages out, dyed them with Kool-Aid, and cut them into shape. I used a plastic bag for the base of my dress, and wrapped it with masking tape around my dress form, then taped the paper petals to the skirt, and basically paper-mâchéd the bodice. The entire process took me about two weeks, and it’s easily one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever worked on.
